At home. Easy to ask.

Saath is building Al, a voice assistant for older adults. It helps with everyday tasks and keeps family involved when needed. At home, your parent simply asks. Family stays connected through the conversations they already have.

How it works

One request, start to finish.

At Frank’s house

  • Frank“My knee’s acting up again. Can you get me in to see Dr. Lee this week?”

  • Al“Dr. Lee can see you Thursday at 10:40. Should I book it?”

  • Frank“Yes, please.”

  • Al“You’re all set. Katie’s picking you up at 10:15.”

Al

Dad’s seeing Dr. Lee on Thursday at 10:40. Can anyone drive him?

I can take him! I’ll pick him up at 10:15.

Mike

Thanks Katie 🙏

Al

Thanks, Katie. I’ll let Dad know.

What Al helps with

Help with the everyday.

  • Staying in touch

“Remind me to call Ruth on her birthday.”

Al remembers, and reminds Mom that morning.

  • Errands

    “Is my prescription ready yet?”

Al checks with the pharmacy and tells Dad when to pick it up.

  • Just for fun

    “What time’s the ballgame tomorrow?”

Al finds out, and reminds him half an hour before the first pitch.

Built around their independence

Your parent stays in charge.

  • They make the decisions.

Al asks before it books, buys, or speaks for them. If they say stop, it stops.

  • They choose what’s shared.

Family sees what your parent wants to share. No feeds and no daily reports.

  • Family helps when a task needs it.

When something needs a person, like a ride or a second opinion, Al asks your parent before it brings family in.

Why we’re building Saath

“My grandfather needed help with small things, and he’d never ask for it. We’re building the helper we wanted for him.”

We’re designing Al so your parent has nothing to install and no account to manage. Family members join through a group chat.

Your parent decides what’s shared with family. Before Al is available, we’ll publish what it stores and how to delete it. Until then, our privacy policy covers this site.

No. Al helps with everyday tasks. It isn’t a caregiver, a medical device, or an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
